What's the importance of pH?

The average pH of the body is 9.0 while the vulva is 4.0. Using generic body products on your vulva that contain a high pH will cause imbalance to the skin microbiome, ultimately leading to dryness, itch & irritation.

The skin on your vulva is the same as the skin on your lips and should be moisturized daily to prevent dryness and wrinkles. Best used after the shower to increase absorption. Great product. Great scent. Great moisturizer and controls itch really well as the chemistry changes through out the month, sometimes I get dry and itchy and this balm is the only thing that helps. This is my second purchase and don’t think I’ll go without it ever again.
