This was my first time using a home wax kit and although it was a bit of a learning curve, I'm really happy with it. First the cons: The biggest downside is that cleanup was a huge pain, as the wax never quite hardens on surfaces so it's very difficult to remove (I dropped some on the counter while stirring and applying). It would be helpful if there were cleanup tips included because I'm sure I'm not the only person who's spilled it. I think the waxing oil needs a better dispensing system (maybe a roll-on?), because it's very hard to get out of the bottle without it getting everywhere. I was also confused that the instructional videos showed applying the oil with a cotton pad, which is what I did and ended up with bits of cotton all over my skin after applying - I ended up just dribbling the oil onto my hand and rubbing it on, which then left my hands super slippery. Overall, prep and cleanup a bit frustrating. BUT, all that is to say, I'm extremely happy with the results. As a waxing newbie with sensitive skin, I was really worried about having a reaction or irritation, which I did not. All the products smell lovely, go on easily, and worked well. It's been about a week and regrowth is minimal and not very visible (I'm pale with dark hair, so this is great). I wish the large kit came with or suggested the option to add a second container of wax - I only did my lower legs, underarms, and upper lip, and I'm already out. If it's your first try and you're planning on waxing more than that, you'll probably need more than the kit comes with.
TLDR; Great kit, but a little messy. Happy with results and would buy again.
